The other night Omar and I had some friends over and we started talking about school. I don't know if all of you know but I never got to finish my education due to my surprise baby Landon. I was in my second year and only needed 2 more quarters to finish my generals. So today I decided, its time to go back. I did my homework, found out there's plenty of grant money available and with the help of the FAFSA and BOGW I am pretty sure I can afford to go. If anything, they'd be paying me to go. So I did it! I applied, granted its to a community college, I figure why shell out more money for the same degree? So hopefully I'll be hearing back from the school in a couple days, I'm just really excited that I got the ball rolling on this one. My ultimate goal would be to get my associates, find a job (most jobs I am looking at require an AA), get a job, try again for the mortgage loan, and then voila! Life will be better? Agh, if only everything went according to plan. I just now that i NEED to finish school. I'll go back to get my bachelor's when the economy gets better. Universities are practically asking for your soul when you apply. It's ridiculous. So cross your fingers everyone that it all works out! I know I am!!
