Woo Hoo!! Kids are back in school, this is our second week and I am LOVING the time I have to myself. It's a stay at home mothers dream. I get to clean in peace AND have it stay clean. ALL WEEK! Mostly because by the time the kids get home, get homework done, dinner, showers and bed time routines they only have like an hour left to play which is spent with Monster High dolls and Legos. Minimal clean up and voila! House is clean again. I love it. Weekends are another story...
Ava had her 1st soccer game last Saturday! I had no idea that AYSO U6 division only has 4 kids on the field at a time... 8 total. We lucked out because they are only 4 kids on the team! Everyone wins. She had so much fun on opening day, we have no idea what the score was because no one keeps it which is fun. We also had a little bday gathering and swimming afterwards at Grampa's house.
We also signed up Landon for winter ball so he can get acclimated with the new rules for his age group. Kid pitch, more catcher responsibility, blah blah blah. Omar wants to get the catchers gear that he bought for him dirty.. I know his true intentions, haha. Omar is playing also, in an adult softball league through his work. Our week days have become a tad busy.
This snazzy trio of pictures is from her very first week of 1st grade. Tired much?
Here are some pictures from Ava's birthday extravaganza!
She got cupcakes at school, a sushi dinner (her request), birthday party at the drive in, and swimming at Grampas! She is loved. Landon had a hard time with her getting all the gifts and special treatment but I reminded him of his bday spent at Chili's and the Dodger game we went to and he pretty much got it. They are pretty much counting down the days til Halloween, I have a feeling I'm going to have an Elsa and a Darth Vadar to trick or treat with this year. Don't even get me started on Christmas. No I haven't done any shopping, but who knows, maybe I'll start next month! HA!
My little loves.
