As some of you may know, our family pictures are supposed to be taken tomorrow afternoon. However, I have been watching the weather forecast all week and at first it was saying that it was to rain from wednesday to saturday night. Then wed comes along and its a beautiful day! No rain, a little chilly but no rain. Then yesterday was perfect as well. And what do I see when I woke up this morning? The sun shining the no rain in sight! However I keep being told that the rain is to arrive tonight and pretty much go all day tomorrow. My luck right? So I'm hoping that the weather will once again surprise me and come through. If not then we decided that we'd just re schedule. In other news, my nephew Colton turned 2 this past week, my mom turned... well shes 30 years older then me so you do the math, a couple friends also had birthdays and the most important was Omars. The big 24. The day before I managed to sneak off to Target and grab some last minute decorative items and gifts for him. I managed to get my hands on one of those window markers and completely defaced our sliding door. :)
Anyway, so all the birthday's were successes. Everyone was happy and full :) Next on the agenda is planning a Disneyland trip for the kids this year. It was either Disney or Sea World and Omar and I chose Disney after we saw the documentary "The Cove." Hands down the best documentary I have ever seen. It made me actually want to get up off the couch and do something about it. So I am. We are no longer spending time or money at a place that uses captive animals for our sick entertainment. And with the recent killer whale attack in Orlando it just opened up my eyes even more. Anyway, before I stick my foot in my mouth... ;)
