the weekend

so.. the weekend was good to us.. kinda. on saturday, the kids slept in (thank you!) and therefore letting me and omar catch up on some sleep. we cleaned the house and then went to get our taxes done in riverside. left the tax guys house with HUGE smiles on our faces. then on the drive home decided to stop at staters to get some supplies for dinner and got pulled over by a stupid jerk face cop. so we get a ticket and by this time im fuming cuz he was rude. but i got over it, went home cooked dinner and then surprise surprise, we had a surge of spontaneity and decided to drive down to the beach to meet some friends for a bonfire. it was really fun.. mingled with the ysa.. we werent the only married kids there though. i miss bonfires. the smell... the ambience... the smores. lol. goodtimes. i wished we had gone earlier. anyways, so when we left it was about 1030pm, made a quick to sonics and then came on home. we were soo exhausted. ah to be young again. anyways, so there you have it. sunday we stayed home (extremely tired) and played with the kids. as of right now they are having a screaming contest. nice. 18 more years of this. SCORE!
