So my July has been awesome so far.. On the 1st, I went with my friend Nicole to see "Eclipse" which was awesome! It was the first time that I had gotten outta the house since the last movie came out haha. We had a lot of fun, both of us being stay at home mommy's were super excited to be baby free and watch as Kristen Stewart had the incredibly difficult task of choosing between Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner (Team Edward all the way)! I also got the opportunity to go to the beach (kid free!) for a friends birthday. Despite being over cast and really cold, I had fun! Here's a picture of some of the girls that went.
For 4th of July, we hosted our family for a spectacular fireworks celebration thanks to the University of Redlands and our awesome location to the fireworks. They set them off directly across the street from our apartment. We had the BEST seats... here's a picture of our "little" set up in front of our place. We sectioned off the grass as to "claim" our territory. People got really crazy and just threw blankets and chairs wherever there was an open patch of grass.

This jumbo ginormous plane flew over our place and pretty much shook everything!!! Landon hid under the table for this part. There were also paragliders that came down and landed on the football field where all of the people that paid for the show sat, luckily we could still that part from our balcony.

My mom and Fern (I think they're an item) <3

In order to get Landon out from under the table, it took a little bribing action. I told him that the paragliders were super hero's. He came out for that part long enough to check it out and grab an ice cream before heading back underneath the table.

Ahh... these kids. The entire night we had to have a couple adults posted at both ends of our section to make sure that they stayed within the boundaries of our spot. It only took a second for someone to look away for one of these kids to take off. We figured ice cream would keep them distracted long enough for us to catch our breathe.

And lastly, a shot of the fireworks in action. They were soo close that the more powerful ones that went off made my clothes blow back a bit. Crazyness. Everyone that we had over said that it was the best fireworks show they'd ever seen. I was glad to be able to have everyone come together and be able to spend time with eachother. They were all especially excited to find out that we renewed our lease for this next year, which means... 4th of July at our place next year!

Still left to do this month: Celebrate turning 23.. oh yay. Make a trip to the zoo since we scored free tickets through Omar's company. Thanks Cargill! Hopefully get together with Nicole again, we have an unlikely friendship which makes it totally cool. Not many people get that opportunity (she is one of Omar's ex's). Hopefully make another trip out to the beach with the kids this time. And lastly, start planning Ava's birthday :)
