Then we made our way over to Omar's sisters GIANT apartment. She could easily fit 2 of mine into hers. She had it decorated beautifully and so elegant and warm. All the kids ran around like crazy wild animals while the of us adults sat around a candle lite dinner. I finally made it to the grown ups table!! However at this point, both Omar and I are full from my dad's food but decide to plate ourselves anyway and I have been full since then.
After everyone ate and had their absolute full we played a couple games of Family Feud, boys vs girls. Girls won twice of course ;) Then we sat ourselves around the tv for a movie. Before we knew it, it was already 11:30pm. Half hour til Black Friday. Sadly though, this year we opted out, or rather our bank account decided to opt out. So instead of joining these wackadoo's....

we drove home, put the kids in super warm jammies and got out the 2 extra comforters on our bed. It was a wopping 34 degrees! Time to invest in some fuzzy socks and warmer pajamas. Today Omar and the kids pretty much slept the day away til around 4 and I helped him put up the lights outside. As soon as that was done, I wanted to get started on the inside and as I pulled out decorations I soon came to the realization that I need to buy more... there were a couple casualties in my box. So thats on the to do list. As well as find an anniversary gift, order some things from amazon, and get some things for the upcoming christmas party. I completely forgot about christmas cards this year until I realized that my lovely photographer Lora is moving to Utah. So don't expect some expert shots this year guys, I'll see what I can do. Who knows maybe my nikon coolpix camera will come through for me. Improvise ya know? I wish we could get away to Disneyland this Christmas season too.. I keep seeing all the commercials with the kids singing "Its A Small World" and start to get all emotional about it. Sad, I know. Until then, I'll keep this as my desktop background. :)

Hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving!
