Married, working mom of 2 healthy kids who actively wears stretch. Que Fancy!

Procrastination... but not on purpose.

Here is the reason that we are barely getting our Christmas tree...

Ever since Thanksgiving morning (before he ate any food) he felt a little "weird". I ruled him as a buzzkill the entire day for making me worry about him instead of enjoying Thanksgiving with the family. We thought it was just a routine case of the flu and went about treating it as such. A week passes by and he still isn't better. In fact, he's worse. I make a doctors appointment for him only for him to cancel it because he promises he's feeling better. So he goes to work only to come home feeling 10 times worse. He had everything from nausea, vomiting, dizzyness, aching, headache, cough, etc. So I call the next morning for another same day appointment, and what does Omar do? Cancel it. Why is it that men can neither ask for directions or admit when they are sick and need to seek professional? Finally I just got fed up (more resentment that he was all whinny and sick and wasn't helping with the kids :P terrible I know.) and MADE him get into the car and drove him to urgent care where he was then hooked up to hoses and IV's and taken to get Xrays and blood work done. I was shocked because I had been so mean and had been telling him to get over himself and stop mooping around. So now I felt bad, and was sitting next to him as he sat there shivering, coughing and trying to breathe. The doctors ruled out pneumonia thankfully, but never really gave us a diagnosis. They were more concerned about the lack of oxygen levels in his blood and pretty much focused on that the whole 5 hours we were there. When we left we had a hand full of prescriptions to get and tons of questions that weren't answered. Why was he so sick?! Why is he STILL sick? All that he has left now is a messed up ear, he says that he can't hear out of it, like the sound is muffled. I'm not a doctor so I have no idea and he can't get an appointment to go see our primary doc because he is soo popular and doesn't have any openings until mid January. During all of this I was surprised that neither myself or the kids had contracted whatever the outbreak monkey and given Omar. Until last week.. when I woke up achy and coughing. I am thankfully over it now, but I am now left with 2 sick kids on antibiotics and Tylenol. In between all of this chaos our anniversary passed where we did nothing, we missed Omar's company Christmas party that I had been looking forward to, and we have yet to do any Christmas activities with the kids. I am hoping to get out this upcoming weekend and make our way to the L.A. temple to go see the lights there, and maybe even go to the Mission Inn. I still have to finish shopping for the kids, mainly clothes to get now, and get supplies for our parents gifts. I've also got a trip planned to go see my brother and sister in Huntington Beach next week for a little Christmas gathering. BUSY BUSY BUSY!! It's time for us to play catch up now.

OH!! And because it turned out so well, I thought I'd show off the little project I did for the RS super saturday that was a month ago. :)

I am obsessed with Armour Etch.
