Dream come true

My son is now 4. Lord help me. I never thought that there would be so much attitude at 4, so many hand gestures when he talks, and wanting to eat so much! His party was a huge success, we invited a fair amount of people and more then anticipated showed up. Landon was happy though, almost all of his cousins were here and they all wanted to run around and scream. The theme this year was Spiderman, everything super hero is cool at 4. My mom bought majority of the decorations and even got the cake. Little did she realize that they had spelled his name wrong, so it read "Happy Birthday London!" She even got spiderman masks for all the kids to wear. A surprise guest showed up to the party this year, my dad. Biological. He never came to any of my birthdays as a kid, never mailed a card, never called. However, this year seems to be different. He came to Landon's party, then he mailed him a card with money in it, he even walked to a pay phone to give my sister a call on her birthday! Landon has no idea who he is, but I was glad he came.

Last weekend I went to Huntington Beach for Gina's baby shower. Her TWINS Noah and Aaliyah are due this summer. It was really good to see her in all her pregnant glory, she is surprisingly small for twins although I'm sure she doesn't feel like it :) I also brought along our little sister Mariah and made plans with our sister Rebecca to come. And she came!! All my sisters in ONE room for the very FIRST time! I had been dreaming of that since I found out I had sisters. We were all nervous and just stared at eachother to find the comparisons. Our older brother Greg stopped by once he got out of work and kept us laughing. I hope that we all stay close, we've got a lot to learn about one another. Here are those pictures...

Left this month, fathers day. Then 4th of July aka our LAST huge party at our apartment. We need to move closer to Omar's work and so I have been in constant search of a new home. Everyone is invited to come, as long as they bring a box so I can pack! :)
