Well... she's 3 now. Current loves: swimming, dresses, singing, wearing her "slip slops", cupcakes, the movie "Tangled", anything purple, her dollies, earrings, copying Landon, taking baths, blush, burritos, nail polish, slurpees, dancing, and going to gramma's house.

Her birthday was once again last minute. Omar and I have this ongoing debate about her birthday parties.. he says that because she is a girl, her parties will be more costly when she's older (sweet 16). Whereas I feel like, when she's older she isn't going to want to have her party at home anymore anyway so we may as well get them in now :) Silly I know, I just like having kid parties.

In other news... Omar went on a deep sea fishing trip with his work buddies. They were asked to meet at work at 3:45 AM and then they'd carpool to Dana Point and go from there. I didn't fall asleeo til 12:30 AM that night/morning and then had to drop him off at work. When me and Landon got home Landon was wide awake, of course. I forced him to lay down with me for about an hour and they came to the realization that he wasn't going to go back to sleep. So we got up (its 4:30 AM), made a sandwich and watched Tarzan. By the time it was over I had washed dishes, deep cleaned the kitchen and bathroom, and was waiting for it to be a decent hour so that I could vacuum. By 7AM I was done. And so was Landon who was passed out on the couch. I let him sleep while I got ready and then we went to get Ava from my mom's and to run all of our errands before it got to be too unbearable. It's been 100+ degrees here for the past week. After all was said and done we came home and napped and waited for Omar -who ended up coming home empty handed :(
Needless to say, we've been spending a lot of time at the pool. And with this month and next month chalked full of birthdays and a couple weddings, I'd say i have my hands full and plans for every weekend til Halloween. Speaking of Halloween... I can't wait to drag out all my fall decorations!! :)
