Carnival

Before I became a member of my church, I was a member of a Catholic church in Highland and every year around the first weekend in October they held a carnival. Back then the canival only consisted of game booths, food, a live band, a rumage sale, and an auction. My gramma Stella held down the fort at the liquor basket booth and every year I'd help her get the baskets together and make the lists and help sell the tickets. However within the past couple years my gramma decided that organizing those baskets was too much so she passed the torch to someone else in the church. I hadn't been back to the carnival in 5 years and this year Jake reminded me of it, so I packed up the family and off we went. To my surprise the carnival had grown! Not only did they have the very SAME booths that they had when I was a kid, but they had rides! The kids were soo excited to go and get in line to ride their very 1st ride without me or Omar on with them.

Its a crazy thing when your kids get to go and do something that you yourself grew up doing.
