Success

Well I did it. I cooked an entire Thanksgiving feast ALL by myself and it was DELISH! Morning started with a little pie and ambrosia salad making. Then I had a mini break to run to the grocery store to grab a couple things that were forgotten. Came back in time to start the turkey breast. Then the ham went in and then all the sides came together. It wasn't really that bad. And it was all ready at 5 o'clock. I lit the candle sticks and voila! We were ready to feast! I don't have any pictures of this (shame, I know) because I was in the same thing that I had been cooking all day in and looked awful. The kids were in pj's because earlier in the day Ava had thrown up all over the floor. We looked like a hot mess but ate like kings. Later that night I went with a friend to Target's Black Friday. The line to get in wrapped around the building, but the line to check out was surprisingly short. We had a plan as soon as we walked in. :)

Most of the Christmas decorations are up.. I say most because I have very few. We put up our lights, threw a garland on the bar, and hung the kids stockings. My mom is going to let me raid her Christmas decorations as she has 6 storage tubs full of them. YAY! Like a kid in a candy store. Landon keeps asking when we will be getting our tree. He suggested that we get it ASAP so Santa sees that we're being good. We also took the kids to Victoria Gardens tree lighting ceremony last week. They had the huge tree, lasers (not sure what they have to do with Christmas?), Santa's arrival, and fireworks. It was fun minus the rude parents that tried squeezing into any bit of elbow room that I had to get a closer look. It's like personal space goes out the window.

Now to just send out Christmas cards, get a picture with Santa somewhere, finish shopping, and a tree. OH!! and my anniversary! 5 years <3 And I love him more and more everyday...
