Omar got super inspired and decided to make a slide show with all the pictures to show the family at our little dinner that we all got together for. Everyone got their own disc with all the pictures AND a slideshow complete with music and credits done by my husband. Later that night we also thought we should go get our tree, so off to Home Depot we went only to find that the chain saw had broken forcing them to close early. Ava was so sad, tears were shed. Not to worry though because the next day we went to another Home Depot that was freshly stocked with the prettiest trees AND a tough chain saw. Only problem was, it was like 25 degrees out. Okay, maybe not that cold but it totally felt like it. My poor kids were huddled behind the scrap box to try and escape the ice cold wind that we're famous for. We also made a trip to Target to buy some brand new ornaments this year since our old ones just plain sucked. And here she is in all her glory!
Special thanks to my mom who helped me and put the ribbon on the tree as I am to dumb to do it. I tried and got frustrated, grabbed it off the tree and threw it across the room. Patience? I had none. Bah humbug. ;)
