Explanation

First off... I guess I have some explaining to do. LOL! I have to admit that I am a little obsessed with that awful show "Jersey Shore." I know, how can that be? I don't even know why I watch it. Nonetheless, I do. So, in honor of it returning to television for all of our viewing pleasure, I decided to get a little "festive" and dress up for the occasion. Which was perfect because I had a bronzer under neath my sink that I had bought wayyy back in high school to use for prom (I had a MEAN t-shirt tan) and my prom dress was strapless. But I never wore it because I was afraid of sweating it off from all the dancing I was going to do. Good thing because, then I applied it on thursday night, it looked like I rubbed my face in dirt :)

I even applied a TON of black eye shadow and liner and tried to find the tackiest outfit I had. Mission accomplished. Only problem was, some people didn't know if I had completely lost my mind or if I was in fact joking. It was totally a joke. I was dared by my sister in law to go get ice looking like that, and I ALMOST took the dare but my pores were choking and I had to get in the shower STAT! :)

Now that that's settled, here is my brand new sun beam! (I asked her to smile for me, not pose, and this is what she gave me). Who poses like that?

Landon is now in CTR4 (the equivalent of kindergarten? but for church). I ALMOST cried. Keyword being almost. I'm going to be a mess when he starts school for real in August. :(

My mom also came for a visit today, both kids were super excited to see her. I asked for a picture and Landon all of a sudden got into a bad mood and refused to cooperate and Ava got all coy with the camera.
