Married, working mom of 2 healthy kids who actively wears stretch. Que Fancy!

Who is your favorite Disney Princess?

She's 2. Okay, well she's been 2 for about a week now. 2 going on 16. I don't know where my child gets her girly girl diva-ness from. I certainly don't remember being like that when I was younger. Granted I did have a ga-zillion Barbie's and would frequently go into my mothers and grandma's closet looking for high heels to wear around in the kitchen (it was the only place that would make the clack clack noise when I walked) but I didn't start doing that til like 1st grade. Ava is starting way early. I gave up and gave her a pair of my flashiest heels so that she'd stop going in my closet and unorganizing it. She also has a thing for purses, any type of hair accessory and rings. So for her party I thought, princess theme. That would be perfect! Wrong. Since my Ava decided that she would pick one of the unpopular princesses to be a fan of. I mean, who likes Snow White?! No one. She is the forgotten princess, which is sad because she's really the one that got it all started. But still, Snow White? Do you know that there are hardly ANY Snow White toys? Luckily Target knew the hurdle I had to conquer and had a couple Snow White things, I thought for sure that the Disney Store would have my back, but apparently they got rid of all their Snow White inventory and were having a new and "improved" shipment due to arrive a couple weeks after Ava's party. Not helping me. So I realized this was a battle I wasn't going to win and got one of the most boring gifts you could get a 2 year old. Clothes! Yay! Luckily my dad came through and made a trip ALL the way to Downtown Disney to find her the prized Snow White dress....
Voila! After opening this gift, she was pretty much done with everyone and everything and only wanted to walk around and feel "pretty".

This is her grand cupcake display that I put together last minute with the help of Omar and one of my oldest friends. We were going for a tacky, sparkly, over the top showcase of pure girlyness. Mission accomplished!

In other news, we FINALLY made it to our correct ward. Same building just a different time slot. The people are super nice and friendly. The kids LOVED nursery all the same. I don't know whats going to happen when its time for Landon to go to sunbeams. He is going to be devastated, I can see it now. :/ Wish us luck with that hurdle.
