Haven't blogged in a while... which has driven me crazy because I needed to channel my frustrations somewhere. Thanks to my good friend Erica who let me borrow her from her busy life to go ahead and let it out. Also to my wonderful husband who listened to me at 2am even though he had to be at work in 4 hours. And while I can't completely involve everyone in my business... I can say that prayer has gotten me through it. Prayer and support.
Last week we learned that my Grampa Jake was diagnosed with rectal cancer. This past weekend he was taken to emergency for a number of things but was thankfully released to go home and rest. We don't yet know what stage of cancer it is but are hopeful that he will remain strong.
There are other things that I have been stressing about but I unfortunately can't open up that can of worms, especially on the internet. I am just thankful that my kids are healthy, my husband is awesome and we are making it.
Good news: Omar's company picnic is in 2 weeks which means a free trip to Knotts Berry Farm (dinner included!) Took Ava to the dentist yesterday and she's got 0 cavities! Yay Ava! Landon on the other hand.... he's going back to have his fillings re done because he pulled them out. Who does this kid think he is? I'm finally caught up on all my dental work after 6 years of not being able to have a proper cleaning.. (braces for 3 1/2 years and then back to back pregnancies make x rays not an option.) I love our dentist.
Landon will be turning 5 next tuesday! He can't wait.. he says that he is tired of telling people that he's 4. For me it just means that school starts in 2 months. He'll be driving in 11 years and graduating from high school in 13 years. Wahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let the hysterical crying begin.
