She's 4! And yes, she picked this cheesecake from Costco for her birthday :)
We took her to Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor for lunch which she LOVED!

She was totally spoiled by her Grampa and Gramma this year. Sleeping Beauty is the current fave so this was probably her favorite gift ;)

During her "happy birthday song" from all the waiters in the place, Ava refused to look at them, this was the only glance I got from her.

We also got together with all of the Alva family to celebrate her birthday and just get together before everyone went home. Followed by menudo in the morning at my Gramma's house. :) Just like we used to when I was little. It was nice getting to see everyone again. Introducing the kids to more aunts and uncles and cousins.
This morning on our way there, I stepped outside and found a single red rose petal on our doorstep. I thought it odd as there are ZERO rose bushes around us... then remembered that my Grampa loved his rose bushes. He took pride in how ginormous those suckers would get and how sweet they smelled. I took it as a gift from him this morning and felt a little better. You will be missed :)
