Upgrade

It was Omar's birthday last weekend! And him being the spoiled man that he is went to his favorite place for lunch and then purchased this

Because lets face it, we were due for an upgrade. Jennifer Lawrence did not come included ;)


We also had family over to help him celebrate 27 years :) He's officially in his late twenties, haha.

The next day Ikea called our names and so we obliged and made the trip over to pick up a pair of new dressers and "look" into a tv stand since the default one we initially were going to use failed us because our cable box wouldn't fit into it. Tip: ALWAYS measure your cable boxes and dvd players and whatever else you're going to put in there before hand!

Long story short, we found the dressers AND found a tv stand that was in our budget! You have no idea how excited I was to get our old dresser out.

I'm starting to really love our room <3 This pretty little thing was being used as a night stand til I got my nifty new dressers and is now in need of a tv.

Anywho.. MoVal is getting better, or I should say I'm getting used to it. I'm not to so much open space. One minute you're in a shopping center or small housing track and the next its rocky mountains, wild donkeys and open land. The last 3 are completely foreign to me. Living in Moval, there are 4 ways to get to San Bernardino. One is taking the freeway which always sucks and is always plagued with traffic and semi's. Two is going out of your way and going up to Beaumont and then coming out by Yucaipa (a way which we never go.. no reason to). Three: San Timeteo Canyon which is a gorgeous drive and takes you right into Loma Linda (lots of farms and horse land). The last is through Reche Canyon and has more curves and twists and involves the wild donkeys. The last time we went that way we saw at least 40 donkeys walking up the mountain. Weird.

This is a picture of what these rocky mountains look like, I hate them and miss seeing the snow capped ones of San Berdoo. OH ya, and there's a golf course. We haven't gone... we don't golf :P

As for the kids, Ava is all ready to sign up for Kinder. Enrollment isn't open until March 11th, but I went and grabbed the packet ahead of time, filled it out and made all the necessary appointments so that I wouldn't have to walk in and wait 3 hours like everyone else. Landon is doing really well in school and loves his teacher. He drew her a picture with a heart on it and wrote "to mis izreal. frum landon. this iz yur prezit." He sounded everything out himself and totally beamed when he came home from school and told me that she put it up on the wall.
