Friday night I took the kids to my aunts for dinner so that we could visit with our cousins from Alaska. Before getting there I informed the kids who we were visiting with and that they lived far away in Alaska by polar bears, penguins and moose. Landon's only question: So does she live by the North Pole? Me: In fact! She does! You should ask her! Landon: eh, you can. LOL. OK. I don't think he got around to it, he was too busy chatting it up with Porter. ;)
These 2 could have talked for HOURS. I also got to visit with this little one
All these cousins having babies! Family is definitely growing!
Right after getting my baby fix I had to jet on over to my friends birthday dinner. We've been friends for about 15 years now and I can't even begin to express how proud I am of her!
About to devour her pozookie. Saturday was spent sleeping in (kinda) and getting ready for another cousins baby shower! I have A LOT of cousins. She is having a boy and is due on our grandpa Jake's birthday :) Can't help but bring a smile to my face to think about. We miss him so much and this little boy is going to be such a blessing to the family. While shopping for baby clothes for her little one I couldn't help but get a tad emotional whenever I'd see little bibs with tools on them. Congratulations Angie!
The remainder of the weekend was spent with my little family and a cheap $5 sprinkler.
Best $5 we ever spent. Omar also made a new screen and frame for one of the windows! Now I'm able to open the windows in my living room! Only 4 more to go! :)
