Kindergarten's Over!

He did it! My smarty pants 6 year old graduated from Kindergarten last Friday! Unfortunately, Omar couldn't be there due to work, but we still had a great time, were near tears a couple instances, and beamed with pride!

Afterwards, my mom asked Landon where he wanted to go to lunch and he requested Panera Bread. Not McDonald's but Panera Bread, because he wanted his "delicious macaroni and cheese". Well deserved kid.

Today was our first day of vacation and so I asked the kids what they wanted to do this summer, here are some of their responses;
1. Go fishing
2. Go swimming with Emma and Haley
3. Go to the beach!
4. Go camping
5. Spend the night at Gramma's house
6. Sleep in the backyard
7. Go to the drive in


They got a huge blow up pool from my dad for Landon's birthday and so this past weekend Omar, Sylvia and I tried to figure out how to blow it up using a pump rather than our mouths... we failed. So Omar and Sylvia took turns blowing it up the old fashioned way just so that the kids could go swimming. And swim they did. All weekend!

Now it's my turn to do my homework and look into places to go camping at. We have Lake Perris just down the street from us, maybe use that as a test run with them. Ultimately I'd like to go camping at the beach but who knows. We have 65 days until they go back to school... which doesn't seem like much. Then I'll be completely lost without them.
